#sims 4#the sims community#simblr#ts4#sims 4 edit#mysims#drawing/editing these tears took actual years off my life#editing this in general did but the tears were my hell#her name is norma jean named after her grandmother but she goes by either jeanie or jj#she works at the local convenience store and bartends at night when shes able to pick up shifts#shes the worst bartender in existence and refuses to lift anything over 2 pounds#she once convinced a customer to buy her a sweater because she looked a little cold while working#she lied and said her manager never lets them turn on the heat and casually mentioned pennys was selling her favorite sweater#and then described in detail exactly where the sweater was in the store#all she had to do was blink her big brown eyes and call them baby a few times and they immediately folded#she goes to church 7 days a week even though she hates it because that's what she did when her mom was still alive#and its one of the few things that helps her feel close to her mom#her mom died after she had to drop out of highschool to take care of her#she holds a lot of resentment for having to give up such a big part of her life#but at the same time blames herself for not being able to make her mom better#she doesnt believe in banks and hides money around her house to store it but she's also super forgetful#she'll randomly find money around the house and then treat herself like it was present she meant to leave for her future self#she loves crosswords but treats it like a fun game and refuses to check if her answers are ever right#there's ur fun little facts about jeanie 🫵🏼

According to Rise of Red, defintion of girl power is uh, shaming a girl, aka Chloe Charming, for uh...being a princess??? For being kind??? For being a rule obeyer??? For not liking getting dirty when there's literally nothing wrong with characters who don't like getting dirty- Seriously, this movie's odd love for shaming a female character can kinda go up there with D1's whole Mal shames Audrey scene to cheer up Evie....and maybe overtake it as worst time Descendants did this because at least that was one scene, this was a whole ass sub plot in Rise of Red for some reason.

Okay I know I’ve posted about this before, but I just want to say thank you all one more time for the curly hair advice!!
My hair keeps getting curlier as it gets longer, and I haven’t quite figured out how to keep it this curly on days where it’s not freshly washed (or, more accurately, I haven’t found curly hair products I’m not allergic to) but even when it’s less curly I love it. It’s almost long enough for tiny pigtails!

CHEAT SHEET FOR COLOR SEASONS
These are general, when-in-doubt guidelines, and are far from applying to 100% of cases. But I see way too many comment threads declaring that because someone has black eyes they must be a Winter, or because someone is blonde they must be a Spring, and other such hogwash.
The following terms refer to the natural features of the person, not the colors they wear. You'll be equipped to make educated guesses (and nothing more) with this.
WARM UNDERTONES: Autumn, Spring Clues: Often (but not always) have blonde/red/light brown hair, brown/hazel/green eyes. High contrast tones: Autumn Low contrast tones: Spring

COOL UNDERTONES: Winter, Summer Clues: Often (but not always) have light brown/brown/black hair, grey/blue/green eyes. High contrast tones: Winter Low contrast tones: Summer
Winter vs. Summer
Again, just because you've applied these basic concepts, doesn't mean you've gotten it right. To know 100%, you'd need the tools of a professional: color theory knowledge, the optical ability to differentiate between very slight tone differences, copious natural sunlight, countless large color swatches, and a view of the client without makeup.
Since you and I don't have these, think of it as guessing at someone's MBTI type without knowing anything about cognitive functions. It can still be fun and informative, even helpful; just don't be that random chick in the comments telling someone their consultant was wrong because they're "too dark" to be a Spring.

My dad is like a cartoon character to me because why is he always announcing his every move like I gaf. "I just had 6 sandwiches but don't you worry about poor ol' Carlos... I still have space for my coffee with milk" okay.... good for you I guess. Everything he says is so random and inconsequential and he moves so strangely too like I am aware I do the exact same thing but it's wild to see it on someone else. Yesterday I told him he's going through menopause and he went "Nooo I'm pregnant" I asked with WHO and he just said my mom's nickname. Also he does in fact refer to himself as "pobre Carlos" and "Carlos Puerta" the 1st one being because he grew up really really poor and the 2nd one cause he's always fixing doors at his job. #well I just submitted my essay for my history class so I'm finally done with finals#I wish I felt happier or relieved or something but I don't. I feel awful. my body hurts from the incredible amount of tension/anxiety I had#trying to finish it before 11:59. I submitted it at 11:55. I have never come that close before and I hate it#the amount of anxiety I had you'd think the deadline was hunting me for sport#and what's worse is I felt all this anxiety and put all this work into it and I'm not even happy about it#I spent two days trying to figure out what he wanted us to write about because apparently he just seems to be really bad at instructions#like I thought maybe it was just me overthinking but I spent two hours talking to my mom about it and in the end even she couldn't figure i#so then I had only two days to gather notes make an outline write an essay. while burnt out and barely able to focus.#and while not knowing exactly what I was doing like is this what he wants. is it not. who knows I literally don't have time left#to figure it out I just need to write something and hope it works#but I hate being unsure it makes everything harder#especially because I really wanted to make a good grade. this was the class where I made a 78 on my midterm#which brought my class grade to a B but I'd been able to get it back to an A and I'd be able to keep it if I got like an 80ish on the final#the essay turned out okay idk if it's what he wanted but whatever at least I got the other requirements like word count and sources#but the CITATIONS...we had to use chicago which I'd never used before and let me just say. mla is the love of my life after this.#actually chicago might not be that bad if I got used to it I think my violence should be directed toward every word processor#that links footnotes. it is so STUPID that there isn't an easier way to make them different#if it hadn't been for trying to figure out footnotes on google docs I could've submitted it like ten minutes earlier#and with phenomenally less stress#I eventually had to make a choice as to what I'd give up: (1) submitting it on time (2) perfect citations or (3) word doc#which is what he wanted it submitted as#except when I tried that thank goodness I looked at the preview before I submitted it because I saw that it'd messed up the citations#I ended up submitting it as a pdf. on time. with perfect (maybe) (I didn't have time to double check) citations. but not as a word doc.#is it the end of the world? idk probably not but not meeting a professor's requirements is like. anathema.#all of that is to say that I'm going to cry and then let it go and get to bed and just. idk. I've reached that point where#I'm so tired and numb that it feels like I'll never feel better#anyway#maybe I hurt because of my meds and the side effects decided to kick in now because the grace of God held them back long enough#for me to finish#earl crow ramblings
